Eugenio Detto
Commissioned Series of Portraits and Paintings (2020)
Commissioned by his son Tristan, I quickly became a close friend of Eugenio Detto. Eugenio, aka "Geny" was a brilliant music arranger and accompanied numerous singers, including Graeme Allwright, Guy Béart, Marie Laforêt, Leny Escudéro, and Colette Magny.
As a painter, he started with abstractions in 1975.
He was an 'orchestrator of colors,' his composition was rhythmic; he was a 'seeker of light,' and his art was made of refinement and delicacy.
Detto's painting was an inner journey into a multifaceted, shimmering world, full of charm and deeply personal.
In 2003, he received the prize from the Société des Artistes Français during their annual Paris exhibition.
His paintings can be found in prestigious private collections in the Netherlands, where an exhibition was dedicated to him by th,e Heida gallery in The Hague, as well as in Germany, Belgium, England, Italy, Ireland, Australia, and the USA.
I miss Eugenio everyday. He offered me the painting you see on the right side.

Photography print for the set decor of Time Warner's Sex and the City 2, apartment of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), one of the most wonderful interiors ever designed in film industry (Elle Decor).
Sex and the City 2 is a 2010 American romantic comedy film, the sequel to the 2008 film Sex and the City, which is based on the HBO TV series of the same name.
The film opened in 3,445 theaters on May 27, 2010, setting a record for one of the widest release for a R rated romantic comedy film.

​Amnet New York is a Japanese Tourist and Travel agency. The picture on the right is one of the prints I sold for the cover of their magazine.
AMNET is a partner of the "VISIT JAPAN CAMPAIN", launched by The Minister for Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and organized by JNTO (Japan National Tourist Organization.
JNTO is involved in a broad range of activities promoting travel to Japan through various activities overseas as well as tourism-promoting activities in Japan.

Stalker Girl, by Rosemary Graham, is a "tense, tightly-drawn and suspenseful" novel.
Rosemary is an English and Creative Writing Professor at St. Mary's College of California and a fiction writer. Her third novel, Stalker Girl, was published in August 2010 by Viking Editions. In order to spread word about her book on-line, she created a video trailer using my moody picture of Cornelia Street.
